“For many people, Christianity is the only religion that will help them through their toughest times, and that’s the way we feel,” said Chris B. Johnson, a retired lieutenant colonel and pastor of the United Methodist Church in New York City.
Johnson said he’s had many conversations with people who aren’t Christians who are curious about religion and how it can help them in their lives, but he said he doesn’t have many specific questions for them to ask. “
But it doesn’t stop there.”
Johnson said he’s had many conversations with people who aren’t Christians who are curious about religion and how it can help them in their lives, but he said he doesn’t have many specific questions for them to ask.
“I want them to be open-minded, to be curious, and open to whatever kind of questions they have,” Johnson said.
“In other words, if they have a question about religion, they need to be able to ask it.
Johnson added that his church was founded on the belief that “belief is the first step to a better life,” so it’s important that all people in the church are open to different ways of seeing things. “
When you’re doing that, you’ll come away with a better understanding of the faith.”
Johnson added that his church was founded on the belief that “belief is the first step to a better life,” so it’s important that all people in the church are open to different ways of seeing things.
“We are not trying to make the other side the enemy of Christianity, but we’re not going to pretend that our faith isn’t important,” Johnson added.
“The more people come together, the more understanding we can have.”
Johnson told Breitbart News that while the church has always been an important part of his life, he has become increasingly conscious of the fact that it’s a minority of people who believe in Christianity and he doesn, too.
“As we grow and evolve, we have to be honest about it, and if we can be honest and have the right conversation, then I think we can grow and move forward,” Johnson explained.
Johnson has become aware of the “newness” of his faith and the ways in which people who do not believe in Jesus Christ can be open to the religion.
He noted that there are many ways to live life without God and that people are often surprised to learn that they can be Christian and that they are not a monolithic religion.
Johnson said that if people ask him why he does not believe that Jesus Christ exists, he often says, “I don’t know.”
Johnson said of the newness of Christianity. “
So, if I don’t believe in God, then why am I still living my life?”
Johnson said of the newness of Christianity.
If God is a god, then there is no God. “
If I am a Christian, I believe that God is one and that there is a higher being out there.
There is no way that God can exist. “
There is no such thing as God.
There is no way that God can exist.
There are just as many ways that you can be a Christian as there are ways that a Jew or a Muslim can be an atheist.”
Johnson also said that he is not opposed to other religions or non-Christian faiths, but that he does find the notion of being “spiritual” in general to be troubling.
“It’s not just about being spiritual, it’s also about knowing the difference between right and wrong,” Johnson stated.
“You’re being religious when you go to church.
You’re being a Christian when you read the Bible.
You don’t just go to a church, you don’t get to know the religion in a vacuum.”
He also said it is important to recognize that, “Christianity is not the same thing as Judaism, Islam, or any other religion.”
Johnson pointed to the Bible as an example of a book that offers a clear vision of what it means to be human and to be part of a community.
“All of these things have to do with the very idea of human dignity,” Johnson concluded.
“What I’ve been taught from my very earliest years has been that people who are different from us are not going be human, they’re not good people.
They’re not just human, but they’re a different species.”
Johnson has been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for seven years and said he is now “more open” to exploring other religions.
He said he has met people who share his beliefs who have not only opened up to him, but have also shown a greater appreciation of Christianity in general.
“Some of them, when they heard about the church, they didn’t know what it was all about,” Johnson continued.
“They didn’t even know if there was a church or not.
Now, they understand.”
